Stitching The Trail
Posted on: 04/03/2017

Come and join Deirdre Nelson, artist in residence for the Cateran’s Common Wealth Common Ground project for an afternoon of stitching the Trail!

From March to July, Deirdre is working with schools and other organisations  to design and create new textiles for the area, inspired by new aerial photography and new place name research commissioned for Common Ground and objects chosen for A Story of the Cateran Trail in 100 Objects.

This afternoon is an open invitation to people of all ages to drop in and join Deirdre to stitch their ideas into the cloths being created.

Free, no booking required and no experience of stitching or embroidery is necessary.

This event has been programmed to co-incide with the inaugural Alyth Creates Festival.
