A Story of the Cateran Trail in 100 Objects
Posted on: 17/01/2017

Inspired by Neil MacGregor’s History of the World in 100 objects, this project invites the people who live and work around the Cateran Trail and those who visit, to propose people, places and landscapes and objects associated with them, that they believe tell an important part of the story of this part of Scotland across history and into the present day.

Go to www.cateranstory.org.uk to suggest an object. When you press the button, ‘Suggest an Object’ you will be taken through to the page where you can upload your idea. This same page lists the many suggestions made already.

The Photo above is of the Silver Ball of Rattray which dates from the early 1600’s. It is a unique example of a Scottish Handball Trophy.
